Wirral Connect has held the region's first Corporate Social Responsibility Business Fair on Tuesday 12th July at the Floral Pavilion, New Brighton.
There was a variety of things to do at our Business Fair, you could have:
· Come along to see how your business can benefit from CSR activities
· Learnt more about how to work within the growing social economy
· Had an opportunity to build new markets for your business
· Met best practice examples of business engaged in CSR
· Found out about the reciprocal benefits of CSR activities
· Met local causes which your business could get involved in
From sole traders to large corporates this event was applicable to any business of any size.
This was not about fundraising / donations - it was about building lasting partnerships with reciprocal benefits
This event was funded through the Big Lottery Fund so all activities were free to all
The aim of the fair was to celebrate North West business’ and their commitment to supporting local communities. It also offered insight into a variety of ways your business could get involved in CSR.

A range of stalls from private sector businesses, all who have an interest and dedication to CSR.
Free Professional Workshops
There was a number of workshops ongoing throughout the day in a wide range of areas including supporting employee wellbeing, identifying training needs, promoting social value and many more, all delivered by local experts.
One to one networking
There was opportunities for speed networking to promote your business and to learn more about CSR development and community working.
Meet the Charity
There was a number of stalls from charities / social enterprises with a range of goods and services to offer to your business to aid the implementation of CSR objectives.
With the event being a resounding success, we hope to do it again in the future.
